Open Auditions for MMC Fall Musical

Mount Marty College Performing Arts will be holding open auditions for 9 to 5 The Musical Wednesday, August 29 at 8 p.m. and Thursday, August 30 at 6 p.m. in Marian Auditorium on the Yankton campus.  A large cast of men and women ages high school and up are needed to fill the cast for this Dolly Parton musical based on the 1980 movie.  Auditionees are asked to bring a prepared song (any song) to share; an accompanist will be provided. The audition will include singing, dancing and reading.  9 to 5 The Musical is under the stage direction of Andy Henrickson, with vocal direction by Brandon Connell, the pit band run by Scott Olson, choreography led by Kathryn Reimler, costumes by Dawn Ferris, and scenic, sound, lighting design and technical direction by James Hovland Jr.  Production dates of 9 to 5 The Musical are November 1-4, and is being presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).  If you are interested in auditioning but unable to attend a scheduled audition, or if you have any questions, please contact Andy at ahenrickson@mtmc.edu
