We are excited to welcome you to campus to celebrate your graduate's commencement!

Please keep in mind that COVID has created a fluid situation and our plans are subject to change. We will continute to follow recommendations from local and state health officials and will make decisions that prioritize the health and safety of the Lancer community. Attendance

There are currently no guest restrictions for each ceremony.

Individuals are encouraged to wear a mask in all public spaces. We ask that you not attend the ceremony if you have tested positive for COVID-19 within two weeks of the ceremony or if you are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19, including fever, difficulty breathing, sore throat/cough, loss of taste or smell, etc.

Handicap seating will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Guests who are unable to attend in person are welcome to watch the ceremony via a livestream on our website. Link coming soon!

Ceremony Length

The ceremony will last approximately one hour. Following the ceremony, graduates will be led outdoors where they will be able to meet with their guests. Please make appropriate arrangements.

Photography

A professional photographer will take photos of each graduate. Photos will be available, free of charge, on this site a week after the cereomy.

Guests may take their own photographs during the ceremony, but must remain outside of the candidate seating area. Guests will have time after the ceremony to take personal photographs.

Academic Regalia

Academic regalia may be picked up in the Roncalli Welcome Center from 12:00 - 3:30 p.m. on Friday, May 13 and from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 14. If you plan to attend Baccalaureate, you will need to have your regalia picked up in the afternoon as the gown is worn during Mass. We encourage all graduates in town on Friday to pick up their regalia on Friday to avoid delays on Saturday.

Please return your rental gown to the Roncalli Welcome Center after you have taken photos with your guests. You keep your cap and tassel. After you return your gown, take a moment to officially sign the MMU Alumni Wall.

Academic regalia orders are due March 20.

Depending on the weather, we will assemble in the ASNC gym or the grass area between ASNC and SLC by 9:00 a.m. This will ensure we are ready to begin the commencement ceremony by 10:00 a.m.

The ceremony will last approximately one hour. Following the ceremony, graduates will be led outdoors where they will be able to meet with their guests. Please make appropriate arrangements.

ACADEMIC REGALIA

LINE UP

Please arrive by 9:15 a.m. for line up.  This will ensure we are ready to begin the ceremony by 10:00 a.m.

Though you are welcome to take your own pictures from the audience, Mount Marty University will be providing complimentary photos from the event.
