Center for Academic Excellence

A supportive environment

At Mount Marty University, we care about student success inside and outside the classroom. We want to help you reach your goals, pursue your dreams, and find your purpose.

The Center for Academic Excellence offers peer and professional support whether you’re graduating from high school, transferring from a two-year college, or a busy parent with a full-time job. We’ll help ensure your success through:

  • Individual academic support,
  • Peer tutoring,
  • Peer-led workshops,
  • Our writing lab,
  • Disability services,
  • Structured academic support,
  • Placement testing and the College Level Examination Program (CLEP),
  • Supplemental instruction,
  • Graduate school and professional preparation, and
  • Partnership for academic student success (PASS).

Our academic and personal support staff will help you develop into the best version of yourself — academically and personally — at Mount Marty University. Here, you’ll find benefit from reading and writing assignments, the improvement of your study skills and time management, preparation for taking objective and essay exams, and support sessions for math and science courses. Study groups and instruction sessions can also be arranged.

We’ll help you find your way! Contact Katie Harrell, Vice President for Student Success & Title IV Coordinator, for more information.
