MMC to Graduate First Doctoral Candidates May 11

YANKTON, SD — Mount Marty College (MMC) will hold its Spring Commencement on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. in Laddie E. Cimpl Arena, 1105 W. Eighth St. in Yankton.

As students cross the stage in caps and gowns, history will be made as four Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice students become the first doctors to graduate from MMC.

No tickets are required to attend the commencement ceremony, and there is no limit on the number of guests that candidates may invite. Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

In addition to the commencement ceremony, a baccalaureate ceremony will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019, at 7:30 p.m. in Bishop Marty Memorial Chapel. The ceremony includes a worship service signifying the end of the students’ undergraduate years. Families and friends of the graduates are encouraged to attend.
