Show Your Spirit Mascot Challenge

Mount Marty University is getting a mascot! And we want to hear your ideas.

Mascot Challenge

On the sidelines or around the community, we're looking for a unique character that will reflect and embody the values and identity of both Mount Marty and the surrounding Yankton community. While we will always be the Lancers, we challenge you to think deeper about what it is that represents—or symbolizes—our school, our place, and the love we share for both. The possibilities really are endless!

While there are no limitations on the number of ideas you can share, the deadline to submit is May 6. Following the deadline, a panel of Mount Marty and Yankton community representatives will select two ideas to be voted on in June by the entirety of the MMU and Yankton community. The mascot will be announced during 2022 Lancer Days on Oct. 28-30.
