Day three of the 2024 NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships saw the Lancer men continue their winning, record-setting performances. The Lancers never had an indoor track and field national champion going into the meet. Now, they are walking away with two!
Edwin Nyamutswa became the national champion in the 200 en route to running a school record of 21.04. His previous record was 21.07. Nyamutswa became the second indoor track and field national champion in Lancer history just one day after Mason Schleis became the first.
The last record-setting performance of the day and meet came from Luke Rettedal in the shot put. Rettedal threw 53' 2.75" to finish in 12th place and beat his own school record by 2 inches.
