USA Today Bestselling Author Allen Eskens to Present at Mount Marty College on April 11 and 12

YANKTON — The Great Plains Writer’s Tour will wrap up the 2017-2018 season with two presentations by USA Today Bestselling Author Allen Eskens.
Eskens will present an author reading from his new book, “The Deep Dark Descending” on Wednesday, April 11 at 7 p.m. in Marian Auditorium on the campus of Mount Marty College. The following day, Thursday, April 12, he will present a craft talk entitled “What If” during MMC’s weekly Noon Forum. During the forum, which runs from 12:00 to 12:50 p.m. in the South Dining Room of MMC’s Roncalli building, Eskens will explore the art of writing and creativity. There will be question and answer sessions following both presentations.
Allen Eskens is the bestselling author of “The Life We Bury,” “The Guise of Another,” “The Heavens May Fall” and “The Deep Dark Descending.” He is the recipient of the Barry Award, Minnesota Book Award, Rosebud Award (Left Coast Crime), and Silver Falchion Award and has been a finalist for the Edgar Award, Thriller Award, Anthony Award, and Audie Award. His books have been translated into 20 languages and his novel, “The Life We Bury” is in development for a feature film.
