You need a current computer and access to the internet to attend online classes at Mount Marty. Online tech support is provided through the Mount Marty help desk or by calling (605) 668-1561.
Once you are admitted, you will receive an email to the address used in your application letting you know that your account is ready for pickup. Follow the provided instructions to get your username, change your password, and access LancerLink.

Students who need assistive technologies will have different computer and technology requirements. Please check with your academic advisor to determine the requirements for the specific technologies needed to support your coursework.
We provide all students with an @mountmarty.edu email address. Email is the mechanism for official communications within Mount Marty University. The college expects that such communications will be received and read in a timely fashion. Official email communications are intended to meet the academic and administrative needs of the campus community.
Your Mount Marty email will remain active as long as you are a registered student in good standing or for one year after graduation.
Mount Marty IT supports wireless network access and printing on most devices with modern, up to date, operating systems. The specifications below are known to work with our vendors. We are here to help with any of your technology needs but support for any personal devices or operating systems is on a best effort basis. We are unable to support Chromebooks and devices running Windows S as they are explicitly unsupported by some of our software vendors.
- A system (laptop recommended) running Windows 10 (Professional version recommended) or later, or MAC OS 10.10 or later.
▪A computer that has at least a 2.4 GHz processor
▪A minimum of 4 GB of RAM
▪256 GB hard drive or larger
▪An Ethernet port is recommended
▪Some classes may require a webcam for online sessions
▪A manufacturer’s warranty is highly recommended
Internet access is required to participate in online components of your courses at MMU. An Internet service provider (ISP) will provide you with the software and access necessary to use the Internet.
It is highly recommended that you install antivirus software on any devices you use for educational purposes. Sophos Home provides free antivirus for up to 10 devices. Instructions on how to register and install Sophos are located in the technology section of LancerLink.
The following antivirus products are known to cause issues with Mount Marty services and must be uninstalled before contacting the help desk:
