MMC to Graduate First Doctoral Candidates May 11
YANKTON, SD — Mount Marty College (MMC) will hold its Spring Commencement on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. in Laddie E. Cimpl Arena, 1105 W. Eighth St. in Yankton. As students cross the stage in caps and gowns, history will be made as four Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice students become the first doctors to graduate from MMC.

Dr. Andrea Roberts is the CRNA/DNAP program director at Mount Marty University's Sioux Falls location and has been since 2020. She grew up with a soft heart and a passion to give back and help others—qualities that have led to her 30-year—and counting—career in healthcare.
MMC Freshmen Take Insightful Trip To Grand Canyon
A part of Mount Marty College’s (MMC) new Benedictine Leadership Institute (BLI) is to have students learn about themselves. One way to accomplish this is to give the student’s perspective on their place in the world. BLI Director Joe Rutten chose the perfect place to do this: the Grand Canyon. During a three-day holiday weekend in early October, 115 MMC freshmen and faculty drove in three busses to the national landmark through scenic Utah and Arizona.
