What is Blackboard?

Blackboard is a learning management system, or a software application, that makes course content readily available to students and serves as the online classroom. This classroom contains your reading assignments, papers and projects, tests, opportunities to discuss course concepts, and additional learning opportunities.

How can I get to the MMU Blackboard site?

You can login in directly here or by clicking the Blackboard button at the top of LancerLink. 

Where do I go to find help with Blackboard?

The IT Help Desk can be reached Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at helpdesk@mountmarty.edu or (605) 668-1561. Additionally, there are many articles available on LancerSolutions.

What if I don’t see my course in Blackboard ?

If you are enrolled in an online course and log in successfully to Blackboard and do not see the course available, please keep in mind that online courses will be available for viewing in Blackboard a few days prior to the start of the class. If you are scheduled to begin a course and still do not see the course available to you in Blackboard, please contact the Registrar to confirm your enrollment in the course at (605) 668-1515.
