COACH JAMIE-SAMBRANO NAMED COLLEGIATE NATIONAL COACH OF THE YEAR
DUBLIN, Ohio – Coach Josahan Jaime-Sambrano of Mount Marty College was named the 2019 National Collegiate Coach of the Year at last night’s U.S. National Outdoor Collegiate Championships Awards Banquet. This honor is voted upon by collegiate programs across the country from the pool of Regional Coaches of the Year including Andy Puckett (James Madison University), Bryan Lund (Cal State Long Beach) and Cody Kirby (Union College).
MMC Event Encourages Young Women In Science
As an educational institution, Mount Marty College (MMC) is willing to extend its resources to those that are just a few years shy of graduating high school. One such outreach is through the Women in Science Day, hosted by the college Tuesday. For part of the day, eighth grade-girls from around the region came to the campus and took part in STEM-related activity sessions.
MMC To Combine Homecoming, Family Weekend Events
Mount Marty College (MMC) is bringing its students, their families and the community together in a new way. Instead of this spring, the college’s homecoming week will be held Oct. 7-13, overlapping into the school’s annual family weekend.
