This summer, Mount Marty College alumnus Carlos Saenz was selected for the U.S. Soccer Olympic Development Program. At 27 years old, he was one of the youngest coaches in attendance.
Mount Marty College Fall Band Concert Sunday
The Mount Marty College Concert Band will hold its fall concert at 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, at Marian Auditorium in Yankton. The concert will feature two new works by composers Robert W. Smith and David Bobrowitz, and will feature Michael Cwach on a tuba solo called “Concertino for Tuba and Band” by Frank Bencriscutto. Cwach is a rural Yankton native who now resides in the Czech Republic.
