Mount Marty College to Host Open House for New Avera Nursing and Simulation Center
YANKTON, SD —Mount Marty College (MMC) will host an open house Oct. 11 to celebrate the opening of the Avera Nursing and Simulation Center. The event, from 4 – 5:30 p.m., will take place in the new $1.7 million facility — housed in the Avera Science and Nursing Complex on MMC’s Yankton campus — and will provide the public with an opportunity to view the new facility.
MMC Music Students Ready For End Of Year Concert
On Thursday, MMC’s Choral Union will perform the Gabriel Fauré "Requiem" in Bishop Marty Chapel at 7 p.m. Next Tuesday, the MMC voice area recital will be held in Marian Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. and will feature students who were registered in voice studies.
MMU and Avera Health Announce Avera Scholars Program
Through the Avera Scholars Program, Avera will support selected Mount Marty nursing students with school loans.
Cody Schilling Steps Down
Cody Schilling announced today he will be stepping down as head coach of the Mount Marty College men’s basketball program. Placing family first, Schilling has decided to move to Waco, Texas where his wife, Erica Schilling, is the Associate Athletic Director and Athletics Chief of Staff for Baylor University.
