  • Submit final transcripts once all your classes are complete prior to your enrollment at Mount Marty College.
  • Search online for scholarships. Make sure to apply for Mount Marty College scholarships and view our outside scholarship listing.
  • Check your email for your welcome message to LancerLink, our student portal. 
  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for financial aid. You can apply online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.  MMC's FAFSA code is 003465
  • Submit a housing application on LancerLink to indicate on or off-campus housing. 
    • Students under 24 years of age must live on campus unless they are living with a parent or guardian within 15 miles of Yankton, are married, and/or have dependents.
  • Pay your $100 enrollment deposit in LancerLink.  
  • Submit your immunization records in LancerLink.
  • Attend New Student Registration to meet your advisor and register for classes.
  • Plan ahead, and put important dates on your calendar for the upcoming academic year.
  • Dual credit students must submit college transcripts for the courses they took for dual credit.

New Student Registration is a one-day, three hour event required of all first-time freshman and transfer students.

What to Expect:

  • Meet your Academic Advisor and get the best selection of classes.
  • Learn about orientation and moving in and take your personality test, which will help match you up with your future best friend (roommate)!
  • Get your official Lancer Student ID.
  • Meet and mingle with your future classmates.

Pre-Registration Checklist:

Make sure you complete your pre-registration checklist ahead of time so your day will go as smoothly as possible.

  • Log on to Lancer Link Student Portal with your login information that was provided via email when you got accepted to The Mount.
  • Pay your $100 enrollment deposit.
  • Fill out your Residence Hall Application on the Student Portal.
  • Obtain & bring a copy of your immunization records from your healthcare provider.
  • Bring any transcripts of college courses taken (if not taken from Mount Marty).

Registration:

Early New Student Registration will be held on April 3, 17 and 24, with sessions at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.

To register, call the Admissions office at 605-668-1545 with your preferred date and time at least one week prior to the event.
