Campus Ministry
Faith is a personal journey, and we respect that. Our Benedictine values guide our curriculum and your experiences to enhance your discovery of yourself, your world and your place in it.
Our campus ministry team focuses on worship, prayer, and the promotion of Benedictine values. Join the campus ministry club and participate in coordinating several of our service projects over the course of the year. You can go on a service and mission trip, travel around the nation, or travel around the globe. Involvement in clubs, activities, and events that stress Mount Marty’s core values — awareness of God, community, hospitality, and lifelong learning — will strengthen your faith, build your leadership skills, and help you learn how to make an impact in this world, wherever you go.
MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF OTHERS THROUGH SERVICE.
In fulfillment of Mount Marty University’s Benedictine mission to prepare students for a contemporary world of work, service to the human community and personal growth, service trips aim to give you a broader sense of community, one that often extends beyond our campus and community.
Christian Outreach
Campus Ministry does not stop at events for our students. Mount Marty is behind several events for regional high school students and youth, helping them connect with their faith. MMU hosts three to four faith nights a year, and our campus ministry club helps coordinate and run these events. We often host speakers, musicians, and writers such as Jon Konz, the Campus Minister for O'Gorman Catholic High School. During the faith night in question, Jon shared practical ways to hear God's voice in everyday life through inspirational stories, original music, and traditional worship.

Our Prayer
O God, Creator of all things and source of wisdom and knowledge, send your Holy Spirit to guide our thoughts, words, and actions so that everything we do will begin with your inspiration and continue with your guidance and blessing. Help us to speak and act with integrity so that we may uphold the values of Mount Marty University. May we use our talents and abilities in the best ways possible so that You may be glorified and our neighbor served. We pray these things through, Jesus, your Son, in the power of the Holy Spirit. - Amen
