  • Submit final transcripts once all your classes are complete prior to your enrollment at Mount Marty University.
  • Search online for scholarships. Make sure to apply for Mount Marty University scholarships and view our outside scholarship listing.
  • Check your email for your welcome message to LancerLink, our student portal. 
  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for financial aid. You can apply online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.  MMU's FAFSA code is 003465
  • Submit a housing application on LancerLink to indicate on or off-campus housing. 
    • Students under 24 years of age must live on campus unless they are living with a parent or guardian within 15 miles of Yankton, are married, and/or have dependents.
  • Pay your $100 enrollment deposit in LancerLink.  
  • Submit your immunization records in LancerLink.
  • Attend New Student Registration to meet your advisor and register for classes.
  • Plan ahead, and put important dates on your calendar for the upcoming academic year.
  • Dual credit students must submit college transcripts for the courses they took for dual credit.

New Student Registration is a one-hour virtual appointment required of all first-time freshmen and transfer students. Guarantee your placement in your preferred classes by registering early!

What to Expect:

  • Meet your academic advisor and get the best selection of classes.
  • Follow-up with your enrollment counselor on next steps.
  • Learn about orientation and moving in.

Pre-Registration Checklist:

Make sure you complete your pre-registration checklist ahead of time so your day will go as smoothly as possible.

  • Log on to LancerLink student portal with your student ID that was provided via email when you got accepted to The Mount.
  • Pay your $100 enrollment deposit.
  • Fill out your residence hall application on the student portal.
  • Upload or send us a copy of your immunization records from your healthcare provider.
  • Upload any transcripts of college courses taken (if not taken from Mount Marty).

Registration:

Early New Student Registration for 2021 will be held on April 9, 16 (*Must attend Admitted Student Days), 23 and 30. Exact appointment times will be assigned based on preference of morning or afternoon.

To register, call the admissions office at 605-668-1545 with your preferred date and time at least one week prior to the event.

EXPERIENCE A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LANCER

Admitted Student Day is an opportunity to familiarize yourself with the MMU campus as a “Lancer for the Day”. This event will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, April 16 with activities planned throughout the day. Parents are not required but are welcome to attend as well.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • Attend an actual class at MMU
  • Try out lunch in our Main Dining Hall
  • Familiarize yourself with different opportunities at MMU
  • Register for Fall 2021 classes (optional)
  • Tour campus with current students
  • Attend the MMU Lancers vs Morningside Softball game

REGISTRATION:

Contact your enrollment counselor or call the admissions office at 605-668-1545 to register by April 6, 2021.
