Welcome! While Mount Marty University students are our first priority during the academic year, many of our facilities are available for rent to the public. We wish to be hospitable to our guests and will assist you for a successful and memorable event. For information regarding campus locations, presentation equipment, rental policies, and general event planning questions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Included in our rental fees are use of facilities, basic set up and tear down, and basic sound services. We will accommodate requests for technology, equipment, and more elaborate set designs, to the best of our ability and charge accordingly. We recommend that you schedule a visit to view your room/s and review your arrangements.
A contract will be created based on your requests, which includes a “hold harmless agreement” to use any space on the Mount Marty University campus. We require that you provide us with a $1 million Certificate of Insurance (personal liability) identifying Mount Marty as the additional insured for the time you are on campus.
A’Viands Dining Services provides all catering on the Mount Marty University campus. Menu choices and costs can be obtained by contacting the catering manager at 605-668-1550.
Mount Marty University is a tobacco-free campus. Alcohol is not permitted unless an application is submitted and approved. Events must be in compliance with the mission and values of Mount Marty University.
All rental events are subject to appropriate sales tax unless a certificate of exemption is presented.
Benedict's Cafe provides a link from Roncalli to Scholastica Learning Center and has a pleasant atmosphere. This room, which is adjacent to the Bookstore, can be used for a summer luncheon or breakout session for a conference.
Opened in 1988, this 26,000 square foot facility has a wood floor for basketball and volleyball courts, jogging track, racquetball court, training room, and locker rooms. There is stadium and bleacher seating for 1,800, with additional seating available on the wood floor (tarp available for rent) for athletic, ceremonial, musical, or home show events. We can provide the stage, tables, and chairs.
Newly remodeled Marian is a 32- foot proscenium-style performance space for musical concerts, lectures, or stage productions. The 602-seat capacity theater includes main and balcony seating and is equipped with a permanent digital sound and lighting system, and a 25-lineset counterweight fly system. Dressing rooms and restrooms are located backstage, with loading dock access from upstage left.
Adjacent to Marian is Greg Hall, the choral/band room which has graduated seating for rehearsals.
Roncalli Center houses the campus dining rooms, along with the Welcome Center and three meeting rooms all perfect for a variety of intimate or grand events. The Main Dining Room is a spacious, high-ceilinged room with round table seating of 6, 7, or 8 to suit your needs. The adjacent South Dining Room is divisible and can be rented separately or together for banquets, conferences, or other celebrations.
The Welcome Center is a multipurpose 86- foot by 39- foot room filled with cozy chairs, leather couches and small gathering spaces that are ideal for receptions.
Meeting Rooms 202 and 205 are available for separate venues, or as breakout session rooms for conferences. All are carpeted and comfortable.
Corbey Hall is the women’s residence hall during the academic year, but is available for rent during the summer months for individuals or for group events such as conferences, reunions, and retreats. The building can house 212 residents, has a kitchenette in the first floor lounge, with lounges and laundry rooms on each floor.
Whitby Hall is the men’s residence hall during the academic year, but is also available for rent during the summer months. Remodeled in 2003, this four-story building can house 88 residents and also has a first floor lounge with kitchenette and laundry.
Scholastica houses state-of-the art classrooms for conference sessions. Within Scholastica, is the Mount Marty University Board Room which is available for rent by permission only. The Oratory, located in proximity to the Board Room, is a meditative room that would be available for prayerful purposes only.
